About Audioguide

The Marbach Audioguide was established in 2005. It is supported by Stadtmarketing Schillerstadt Marbach e.V.

The aim is to design the „Audioguide“ using local resources available in Marbach:

• members of the theatre study group of the Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium (FSG) have provided voice recordings of the informative and short texts.
• Hans-Jörg Schmid, a teacher at FSG, is the author of the recorded texts in association with the town’s archivist, Albrecht Gühring.
• Miriam Fortes Santos and Peter Stübler, both teachers at FSG, and their students translated these texts into English and French.
• Technical support was provided by Jörg Mielebacher, himself a former FSG student.
• Technical installation was by the company tomis.
• The website was designed by the company cyber-worker.
